An existing rear extension from the 70s at a different floor level to the existing property was not utilised due to its poor insulation and connectivity.

Our proposal reduced the size of the extension so that it would respond better to the original house. The internal programme through a simple reorganisation puts the kitchen into the 'heart' of the house and the dining area looking out onto the garden.

We see this project as a neat example of how a little design can add enormous value with a modest budget.
