Buckhurst Hill, IG9

This is a 'Don't move - Improve' project, turning a small cottage into a family home fit for the 21st century.

To accommodate the grandmother and the family, the house has two distinct characters on the ground floor. The front parts keep all the traditional features, whilst the back offers a series of contemporary spaces including lounge, workstation, breakfast/dining area, kitchen and enough storage for a busy household. A bespoke kitchen design takes the Shaker style to another level, using two tone colour, push to open doors and drawers and slim birch ply edged worktops and window sills.

The project was completed in 2016.
